Moving and Such

Well, the time has come...Ari and I are moving to L.A. this weekend. We are heading out Saturday and hoping to make the drive in one day...we'll see if I can stand it. It was just yesterday that we got our new home solidified!!! Ari had several places lined up three or four months ago, but Alice, Ari's Mom wanted to "help us out" and take care of it for us, so...yesterday it was! : ) However, the place we ended up with sounds really super great! It's a condo/townhouse, three bedroom, two and a half bath, fire place, yard and patio, two car garage and a dog park near by. (Amar, Ari's brother will be our roomie and he has a dog who will be joining our family.) Anyhoo, it's all inside a gated community! Swanky, huh!?! The place is in Torrence, CA just a few blocks from Ari's church where we will be attending until we find our "home" church. It's also a mile or so from the beach...you know, THE PACIFIC OCEAN!!! Hee, hee, hee! : ) Of course I will keep you all posted as we settle in, and I'll explain why I haven't blogged for so very long...it's a doozy of a tale!!!

Ari nearly died from a surgical related infection and we had to MOVE apartments with only an hour's notice right smack dab in the middle of Ari's worst! Aaaaaah! I'm just glad that it's all over. We had to move to another building because there was a sewage problem...our down stair's neighbors had a sink drainage pipe that had broken and had been draining into our walls for over two years!!! Eeeeew-wah! The smell was unbearable and we are pretty sure that Ari's sinus infection was due solely to all of the horrible bacteria we were breathing in.

I'll give you all the details and up-dates when we have settled in to our new home.
