Happy Feet!

I know that the floor mat says feet twice, but it looked lopsided otherwise. This basically sums up my mood for the last week or so. We've been slammed with over six ft of snow, and there is more on the way! I it's a good thing that I LOVE snow! Last night we had a major blizzard. It was dumping snow so hard that I couldn't even SEE the building that is less than 50 ft from our window, I loved it!
Here is my snow kitty! He did turn out rather nicely, but he didn't photograph all that well. I promise that he's really cute! : ) A dorky "fun fact;" the Colorado snow RARELY sticks together because it is so powdery, so instead of making a traditional snowman, etc...I just sort of draw/stamp them into the snow...plus it's a lot less work!
I made sure to leave a ton of smiley-faces all over the place...I'm sure that some poor bloke will be extra tired and grumpily heading off to work, finding all of these smiley-faces are going to make his morning just that much worse! Sometimes having a super cheery person around when you are feeling extra grouchy just compounds it all! Maybe I'm wrong. (I sincerely hope that I am!) Perhaps it'll turn his whole day around just by seeing smiling faces every where he looks! : )

O.k., here's the one that didn't photograph well at all, but I promise that it's a really cute snow bunny! (He's even got himself a belly button!) : ) I sure do love you all and I am so blessed to have friends, near and far that care about my goofy midnight snow escapades! I pray that all is well with each and every one of you and your families too.

Lots of love, Kristen

Fun in the Snow!!!

I was bored early this morning before we went to bed so I decided to go out and play in the snow. There is a day care center in the building next door to us, so I thought that I would make some fun pictures in the snow to greet the kids as they came in today. It was fun!
Here is one of my favorite snowman...I made several, but he most certainly got the best nose! : )
Here I am, hard at work making a snow angel on the side walk, the entry way to the day care!

Ari had me pose with my handy-work. I believe that this is one of seven or eight snow man's I made. I was a busy girl!
And HEEEEEEEERRRRRRRE'S Ari!!! He looks so extra adorable that I can hardly stand it! We've gotten at least six feet of snow over the last week and a half, so I figured that I'd best make something of it! : ) I can just imagine the fun the kids are going to have on their way into to "school" this morning...I kinda wish that I could spy! : )

My New Pantry Doors...

...Among other things! : ) Before these beauts, we had some super ugly, dark fake wood ones. So, sorry to bore you with this silliness, but I happen to be extremely excited about my gorgeous white pantry doors! They brighten up the whole kitchen, don'tcha thing!?!
Here is my fruit/veggie that I found to be quite esthetically pleasing, so you get a picture of it! : )
Here's one last shot of our lovely new kitchen's pantry doors...I promise to try my best not to post about such superfluous things again. You have my word on that...at least for a while! : ) I really LOVE my kitchen, small as it is. It is just perfect for us, just enough room for two people to cook and bake together. (I just realized how small it actually appears in these pics! I swear it's not THAT small!)

Ah, the TRUE brother/sister relationship!

I absolutely cracked up laughing when I begged them to let me get a picture of them in front of Chuck himself...finally they sat down, and all on their own, they hugged, and then promply pushed eachother away! I was so glad to have captured the moment on film! : )
Hannah and Caleb...my neice and nephew now live in Colorado with the rest of our family. It's still so strange, it hasn't really sunken in yet. We sure did have a lot of fun with them on Thursday and we can't wait to do it again!

Chuck E. Cheese!!!

Seth, Tess, Hannah and Caleb have moved down to Grand Junction, CO! So, Ari and I spent a day with them at Chuck E. Cheese's and we had an absolute BLAST!!!! Ari is so great with kids...I don't know if it's because they are his neice and nephew, I think it's just kids in general, but he's a hero of mine, that's for certain!

Snow and Life

...I guess that about sums it all up. We are going on at least four feet of snow in the past two to two and a half days, so that is really fun! I love it, keep it coming! (just not the cleaning off the car part.) : )

Otherwise, stuff has been really quite normal in our lives, it's just there has been a LOT of crap with my Uncle. So, when you think of us, please pray...I know that I really need it. I don't really know what else to say for now.

I love you all.
